Back With a Bang!

Hey everyone, welcome to 2013 - we hope you've had, or are still having, a fabulous New Year!
Wellington has been turning on the sunshine over the last few weeks, so in that spirit, thought we'd start you off with a very simple but very effective little interiors and branding project by Elips Design of a gelato store in London called Dri Dri!

Wharekauhau - Custom Furniture Design

As part of our work at Wharekauhau last year, we commissioned the manufacture of some macrocarpa stools which also double as small side tables in the accommodation cottages.

The design references a traditional milking stool which is in keeping with the coastal farming region surrounding the Wharekauhau estate.
The stool tops had the Wharekauhau branding logo laser-cut into the seats to create pieces which are truly unique to the lodge.

The stools were beautifully created by Sebastian at Splinters and Pixels.
