New Ribbon Stripe Lampshades

We've just had this adorable pair of lampshades custom made for a client of ours - she has very limited space on her bedside tables so we specified this unusual, elliptical shape to maximise that gorgeous stripe, but minimise the space they take up. The fabric is a multi-stripe ribbon weave called 'Sapphira' by Harlequin!

The lovely new 'Life' collection is 'full of painterly florals, vivid birds and intense stripes'. It's a bit of a follow-up range to the hugely popular 'Art and Soul' collection from last year, so we're all for seeing more of the same! The Luxury of Stripes

We've got stripes on the mind over the last few weeks as we've had an influx of requests from clients for just that. Stripes, stripes and stripes! We're delighted - stripes are so versatile, and depending on the style they work perfectly in very traditional settings through to uber contemporary!

Over the summer, Katie had a chance to stay at Paradise Road The Villa Bentota in Sri Lanka.

This place features contemporary stripes to the max, balancing perfectly with the hotel's traditional exterior and architectural features - looks like luxury with a capital 'L' to me!
