Gwyneth Hulse Design

Last week I stumbled across the gorgeous wares of Northland based designer and maker Gwyneth Hulse Design. I love the clean, minimalist, graphic lines of her work - a little bit of natural wood and a little splash of colour - this combo gives a retro vibe that we're really digging!

The Art of Tatting: Ngaio Rue

We'd like to introduce you to Ngaio Rue, the nimble fingered creator of these beautifully hand crafted necklaces and earrings.

The art of tatting is a technique originally used to create a lace like edging on clothing, made up from a series of loops and knots, rings and chains. Ngaio has transformed this art into delicate jewellery in a range of glorious colours and designs. The ones photographed are only a small selection of the collection we have!

Come in to see these exquisitely detailed pieces, available right here at esdesign!

We're excited to have just re-stocked the shop with some beautiful new jewellery and decorations by the talented Wellington artist Stephanie Cahorel.

All pieces are hand stamped, painted and glazed and in a range of super bright colours. Sure, they're perfect for pressies (and a perfect price too), but they're so gorgeous that you should sneak one for yourself as well!
