How neat are these beautiful scalloped porcelain plate clocks by Aussie company Angus & Celeste? These are great pieces of decorative art that also tell the time. Reminiscent of vintage plates, the illustrative surface decorations are complemented by brightly painted hands. Yummo!

PS Studios - Porcelain Beauties
PS Studio is based in Rotterdam - The Netherlands. We love their wee collection of porcelain cups, named 'TAPED'. They are meant to mimic human skin, but not in a 'weirdo/creepy' way! Instead, they want to focus on the tactile qualities that we all too often forget while we're focusing on the taste of the delicious goodies inside it.
They come in plain white and five different ombre colours: watermelon, apricot, sunflower, mint and blue.

Lenneke Wispelwey Ceramics
Dutch designer Lenneke Wispelwey founded her studio in 2008 in Arnhem.
Lenneke finds a basic, simple approach to techniques and materials very important to communicate her vision and her way of working. She prefers creating a family of products because as an only child she had always a desire for a bigger family.
Her work is also known for the use of different shades of one colour, and playing with the contrast between biscuit and glazed porcelain. She creates honest and harmonious designs, inspired by her own memories and found pieces from every day life.
She feels her work should make people smile - we agree!

Trending: Hanging Planters
I've been doing a bit of product research lately while the two month old naps, and I keep coming across hanging planters!
Awesome brass ones...
Traditional macrame...
Or even molded porcelain!
Are you embracing this old trend as it comes full circle?
