Design Team 'Kewpie'
We've just specified some Design Team fabric for an upholstery job - the fabric is 'Kewpie' in a marshmallow and lime colourway. We love it when clients are game to try something a little quirky!

Wallpaper Wednesday: Wallpaper Splashback
Wallpapering a kitchen splashback can be a really clever, cost effective way of getting some feature colour or pattern into your interior. Generally, we tend to think of splashbacks as being tiled, painted or paneled in glass, but it's worth thinking of wallpapering as an alternative.

Once you've wallpapered a splashback (much the same as you would do a wall) - you need to seal the paper.
There are two obvious options for this; either laying a piece of clear glass over the top and using silicon sealer around the edges, or sealing the paper really well with a polyurethane product (available from most paint stores) - just ensure that it is a clear product, as many poly products have a yellow tinge that will ruin the effect of the wallpaper!

Choosing a vinyl wallpaper will give you even more peace of mind, as it is perfect for wet, damp areas that need to be wiped down.
