Mattressed Squab Inner

The girls spent Saturday in the workshop stuffing the inner for a mattressed squab! (Plus a little horsing around by the looks of things too!)

99% of the time we use new foam inside squab covers, but this squab is a special request for a really authentic, dense, lumpy look - so we are hand stuffing the inner case with cotton, wadding, and wool!

It looks a little strange now, but once fully stuffed, this inner will sit inside a gorgeous cover of Sanderson fabric, and will be buttoned and mattress stitched just like this one... we'll keep you posted on how it turns out!
