Converted Shearer's Quarters
We spotted these eight bedroom converted shearer's quarters over on Roomie's facebook page earlier this week ... what a delightful, laid back, rustic little holiday hideaway this is! Anyone fancy owning some property in rural Masterton?

Coastal Inspiration
A couple of weekends ago, Katie headed out on a walk to the lighthouses at Pencarrow on a typically wild and woolly Wellington day and basically got blown all the way out there, only to have to struggle back again in that chilling wind. Not so fun!
Here's a piccie she took while out there - you can almost feel that wind whipping off the harbor!
The outdoors can easily inspire an interior, and here's a wee cottage retreat that feels as though it had similar design inspiration behind it to the coastal feel in Katie's image; layers of texture, mixtures of crisp colours with weathered, worn undertones, nothing too fussy, nothing unnecessary... makes you want to just curl up somewhere cosy with a book and a cuppa!
