A Kitchen Design by Jane Powell

This week we're swooning over a contemporary kitchen in London by designer Jane Powell for Roundhouse Design.

With the design brief calling for 'industrial' style, you could be forgiven for thinking it would be cool and clinical with the use of corian, stainless steel, glass and iron detail - however using warm grays, the inherent warm tones of brick and blonded floors, the designer has managed to balance 'industrial' and 'contemporary' style with a homely feel perfect for a family environment.

Getting the balance of tones and materials can make or break an interior, but this has success written all over it!

Delightful Apartment Interior by Arent & Pyke

This sunny and bright apartment interior by Australian based company Arent & Pyke would have to be one of the best interiors I've come across lately - the perfect layering of colour, texture, warm and cool tones, hard and soft surfaces, and with a really lovely 'lived in', homely feel.

I could make myself right at home in here, could you?
