Banyan Treehouse, Los Angeles

Take a peek at the 'Banyan Treehouse' - a studio/guest house in Los Angeles designed by Rockefeller Partners Architects.

The studio - standing on steel pylons and accessed by a concrete stairway, wraps and shapes itself carefully around the contours of an existing tree trunk. It is made from a mixture of palope, walnut and cedar creating a warm, inviting sanctuary for peaceful study or relaxation. The ultimate big kids' treehouse!
