Photography by Ashley Woodson Bailey

Last week I stumbled on the divine photographic works of American based artist Ashley Woodson Bailey. Her botanical photographs are simple, dramatic, moody and absolutely stunning. I could imagine these on a massive scale, making a brilliant statement on a focal wall... a magical piece of photographic artwork could be just the ticket!

Do the Banana Leaf

I mentioned on Facebook on Friday the HUGE interiors trend appearing at the moment for all things banana leaf! It's a bit of a tricky one to know how to incorporate this design into your home without making your guests feel like they've gone bush, so check out these images below for a bit of clever inspiration... a top tip: these types of pattern often work in very small amounts like a cushion or two, or used all over but in the smallest rooms of the house - like the loo!

Wallpaper Wednesday: 'Blossom' by Mr Perswall

We're currently doing a bit of work on a fun commercial project that we originally designed the interiors for ten years ago!

One of the items we're looking to spec is new wallpaper for the entry and stairwell - what do you think of this amazing wallpaper called 'Blossom' by Mr Perswall? We think it's a definite contender, so watch this space to see what we end up choosing!

A Schematic in the Works

I spy a fun wee fabric scheme coming together on the sampling table this morning on my arrival to work...

We have 'Inventa' citron, 'Entice' cerulean, 'Kato' mandarin and the beautiful botanical design 'Caspia' by Harlequin. Divine!

Feature Fabric Friday: Nesfield Collection by Liberty

The latest range of Liberty fabrics has been released, and we are swooning over the rich, vibrant colours and intricate designs available in this collection called 'Nesfield'.

Inspired by 19th century British landscape architect William Nesfield, the designs celebrate botanical beauty and craftsmanship - a great range of very usable prints and weaves on linen, cotton and velvet, as well as some great co-ordinating wallpapers that would all work in both traditional or eclectic contemporary interiors.

For NZ orders contact us today, and all sampling is in our studio now to view!
