Happy New Year!

Hello again and welcome to 2015, we hope you've all enjoyed, or are still enjoying, well deserved holiday breaks!

We're back in the studio this week with some exciting things hot off the press; first up is our upcoming venture to the Wairarapa to clear out the remaining pieces of furniture in our storage unit; there's nothing like a bit of spring cleaning to get the year rolling!

Depending on what we unearth there may be a few lucky pieces that come back to Wellington with us and go up for sale, so watch this space - you never know - there might be a belated Chrissie present in there for someone!?

Roll It Up

I think we've all seen those kitchens with the roller doors that slide up and down to the surface of the bench top, hiding away the toaster or the breakfast things, sometimes nicely done, sometimes a little clunky - some of you may have these in your kitchen!

But check out this same product being used in a more creative way - what a great idea for adding a pop of colour and being totally practical at the same time; rolling from ceiling to floor to hide all the kids toys and board games in the living area - that's thinking outside of the box, and we like that!

This product is from Sage Doors

The Bolt Bench

Do you have stacks of fabric at home or at work that needs some natty storage? Then the Bolt Bench from Canadian creative duo Dear Human could be the solution for you! The removable poles in the chair's back can slide on and off when you want to get a hold of your textiles, or just feel the need to re-arrange patterns.

Agnes & Edith Shelves

How cool are the Agnes and Edith shelving units designed by Kay+Stemmer for SCP? Perfectly reminiscent of mid-century style, they come in a walnut or oak finish, and are available from Bob and Friends.
